<a name='more'></a>I have witnessed how it all started having stayed there for 8 years. From construction to its unfolding into world class hotel. Truly a distinction.<br />
<br />
I normally don't like regrets, but if there's one regret I have, it will be this. That I, have not checked-in and take a dip at this beautiful infinity pool of MBS.<br />
<br />
So, while you are still in Singapore, check-In and take a dip! Do not let it just be an imagination, because experience is far more enriching.<br />
<br />
If you are a tourist, I highly recommend that you stay at least a night at this stunning hotel. <span style="text-align: start;">I love places that gives me some peace and quiet. It gives me that chance to reflect on my life. Maybe somehow, I'm a bit of a loner that way. But we all need to be alone sometimes. That still water comforts me. The sunset tells me, it is okay. The day is done, tomorrow is another day. </span></div>

Changi Boardwalk has different spots or views for you;<br />
<br />
1. Kelong Walk<br />
2. Sailing Point Walk<br />
3. Sunset Walk (obviously for sunset.. :P)<br />
4. Beach Walk (sunrise)<br />
<br />
Changi Boardwalk is quite a distance from the City. There are many ways to get there though, but for me, I always take the Taxi for convenience. I always ask the taxi to bring me to Changi Boardwalk entrance which is at Andover Road, just close to Changi Beach Club.<br />
<br />
<b>By Bus:</b><br />
<br />
- Take the MRT to Tanah Merah Station. Exit and ride Bus Number 2 to Changi Village Bus Terminal.<br />
<br />
- Take the MRT to Tampines Station. Exit and ride Bus Number 29 and stop at Netheravon Road. Note that this will still be a long walk to the Changi Boardwalk. About 5 to 10 minutes, depends on how fast your pace is. Alternatively, you can stop outside Changi Village Hotel.<br />
<br />
<b>By Taxi:</b><br />
<br />
- Ask the Taxi to bring you to Changi Boardwalk, near the Changi Beach Club along Andover Road. It will cost you around $15-20 from the city.<br />

It is glorious! It is for this reason why I always love waking up early to catch a glimpse of this beautiful sunrise.<br />

In Singapore, this is the major celebration of the year. If Philippines has Christmas, Singapore has the Chinese New Year. It's the time of year when bonuses are given, parties are celebrated, Stores are on Sale. It is just the most wonderful time of the year!<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
This year however, I will be missing the grand celebration of welcoming the Lunar New Year, the fireworks, elaborate Chinese Lanterns on the streets, the festivities, Lion Dances, etc. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I had to celebrate. For the life of me, I cannot not celebrate. So yesterday-Sunday, my family headed to Toronto's Chinatown to celebrate it in a simple way. </div>
<div>
<br />
<a name='more'></a></div>
<div>
After doing some research, I learned there will be a lion dance at Market Place at Steeles Ave., East which is quite a distance from where we stay. We headed to Chinatown in Spadina instead to see what's in store for us. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Not knowing exactly where to go or where the festivity is in Spadina, we just went anyway hoping we could catch something nice. We didn't see anything, besides it was too cold to roam around. The sidewalk was very slippery as well due to the snow.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Tb-OYYGjCbM/VOyCykjrpAI/AAAAAAAAJlk/4DDEkPpMpQU/s1600/DSC_4813.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Tb-OYYGjCbM/VOyCykjrpAI/AAAAAAAAJlk/4DDEkPpMpQU/s1600/DSC_4813.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
We chanced upon <a href="http://www.dimsumking.ca/" target="_blank">Dim Sum King Seafood Restaurant </a>at 421 Dundas St., West. Since we were hungry, we went inside. Somehow, our instincts say this restaurant spells good food!<br />
<br />
You can check our their Menu online as they also do <a href="http://www.just-eat.ca/restaurants-dim-sum-king/menu" target="_blank">Delivery</a>!<br />
<br />
Please note they are open from Monday to Sunday, from 5:00PM to 10:00PM.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />

<br /></div>
<div>
What caught our attention when we got in, which is at the 3rd floor of the Building was, it was filled up with people! We are right after all. This is good food.<br />
<br />
We had Shrimp Dumplings and our favorite Siew Mai. We also ordered Seafood Fried Rice, Stir Fry Sliced Beef in Oyster Sauce and Soya Sauce Free-ranged Chicken.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Chinatown in Toronto is very Chinese in so many ways. I just love this place! Reminds me so much of Asia. Rows of stores with chaotic display of Advertisement boards, Massage, Reflexology, Haircut, everything and anything really seems available in this part of the city of Toronto. And yes, you get things at a very affordable price!<br />
<br />
<b>Welcome to Chinatown, baby!</b><br />

<br />
We went home happy. We celebrated the Chinese New Year in a simple way over Lunch at one of the best restaurants in Chinatown.<br />
<br />
Gong Xi Fa Cai! May the year of the Ram/Sheep bring us a prosperous year ahead!<br />

One thing that you must have is, PATIENCE. Remember, children will always be in playful mode. So be prepared to run around yourself and never expect them to pose for you like adults can.<br />
<br />
Before any shoot, you must plan on how you want it, without disregarding their age. Yes, that matters! 1 yr old kids generally are easier to photograph as they don't run like 2 yr old or 3 yr old kids. You can put them in one corner, dress them up and start shooting. I always get down to their eye level to get a nice front view. But this depends on how you want it. Be artistic. You can shoot them from the top, or any angle you wish. There are no strict rules to it. So get it on, and experiment.<br />
<br />
Before I tell you the tips and tricks on photographing toddlers, let me tell you the settings I always use. I am an Aperture photographer. Basically, that would be the setting for my camera, unless I shoot landscape which is totally a different story altogether.<br />
<br />
When shooting toddlers, I like to use my 85mm 1.4 or 70-200 2.8. I normally use the widest aperture. I like those depth of field in my pictures. Make sure that you focus on the eyes, the rule for photographing portraits. Now, if you don't have those fixed lenses, always zoom out to get the best results for your depth of field. Let's say, you have 18-200 or 70-200 attached to your camera - make sure you zoom in to 200.<br />
<br />
For my ISO, I would turn it to ISO-AUTO. Why? Because I will constantly be on the move. Unless of course I am shooting with a slave flash.<br />
<br />
So now, let's talk about tricks on how to get them to smile for you or at least stand at the location where you want them to. Remember: You have to be very fast, as kids will be out of that location in a second. Believe me.<br />
<br />
<b>TRICK No. 1</b><br />
It is always best to get somebody help you out to bring out the natural emotion from the kids. I normally would ask my husband to stand behind me, so he could try to make him laugh and get a nice natural smile or laugh.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<a name='more'></a><b>TRICK No. 2</b><br />
This trick never fails me. I talk to my son and tell him that I will buy him a toy, only if he can stand or sit there for a minute so I can take his picture. Or, I will have a candy with me as a prize if he can do something for mommy.<br />

<div>
<br /></div>
This is the time of year when couples go out and celebrate their love for each other. Flowers, chocolates and gifts are the most common women would receive on this hearts day. While some men go the extra mile by surprising their girlfriend, or their wife, some opt to celebrate it in a simple dinner at home.<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Valentine's Day has evolved and is no longer confined to just your partner. It has become a family affair. It's celebrating with the people that you love. Your parents, your siblings, your friends. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Last night, my husband and I together with our son, celebrated our pre-Valentine Dinner at <a href="http://springsushi.com/all-you-can-eat/" target="_blank">Spring Sushi </a>at Toronto Downtown along Dundas Street East with our couple friends. Coming from Asia, Japanese Cuisine is something we enjoy.</div>

<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
My all time favorite is the Salmon Sashimi! The only reason I go for All you can eat, because I can have it until I have had enough. And I can't have enough of it. Really. </div>

<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Another favorite of mine is the Salmon Rose. This is my heaven! I love it! In fact, these are the first I look for when browsing the Menu. Japanese food is not Japanese food without my Salmon Sashimi and Salmon Rose. But that's me. We all have our own favorite. What's yours?</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Anyway, Spring Sushi has a lot of really good food. The seafood fried rice was a revelation. It was delicious! </div>

</div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-X3QESqeC9wU/VNz1RiFlEEI/AAAAAAAAJdU/f2mQRVRw4m8/s1600/DSC_0595_small.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-X3QESqeC9wU/VNz1RiFlEEI/AAAAAAAAJdU/f2mQRVRw4m8/s1600/DSC_0595_small.jpg" height="428" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
My trip to Hongkong with my sister Fiona way back in 2007 was one of my most memorable travel experiences.<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
When my sister, who was working in Bermuda then, went home for a vacation after a long stint abroad, we decided to take a short trip for a bonding occasion, having missed each other from the long distance. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
She flew in from Manila and I from Singapore, marking the beginning of a set of unforeseen events that made our experiences so much more interesting.<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-61zLp4a3zzY/VNz1Rtw0fMI/AAAAAAAAJdY/35FfHIxIrcU/s1600/DSC_0659_small.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-61zLp4a3zzY/VNz1Rtw0fMI/AAAAAAAAJdY/35FfHIxIrcU/s1600/DSC_0659_small.jpg" height="428" width="640" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Our first stop was Disneyland. A funny experience highlighted our tour of one of the world's most iconic theme parks. While lining up to get our picture taken with one of the Disney characters there, my sister and I wondered which role the lovely cast member played. We both were never into fairytale stories and movies while growing up but eventually we decided she was Cinderella, one of the more popular Disney Princesses. When our turn came, my sister, ever the gregarious person, waved and said, "Hi Cinderella!" To which she was given a tart reply, "Oh, It's Alice! Alice in Wonderland!" Hahahaha!<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-G9zhpzg4AzU/VNz1yFz0DKI/AAAAAAAAJdk/Ejzs8PJUQF8/s1600/DSC_0252.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-G9zhpzg4AzU/VNz1yFz0DKI/AAAAAAAAJdk/Ejzs8PJUQF8/s1600/DSC_0252.JPG" height="428" width="640" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">I know. I know. Don't laugh at us, ok. It is silly to mistake her for Cinderella! I am so embarrassed! ROFL.</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
</div>
<div>
We went around the city and had fun shopping at outlet malls. There's plenty and they sell items really cheap compared to other shopping destinations like Singapore. A popular shopping destination for tourists in Hongkong is the Ladies Market, where bargain clothing, accessories, watches, cosmetics, bags and all forms of trinkets are on sale. Unfortunately, we had an unpleasant encounter with a sales lady there.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-YATtMKCVRyI/VNz3IRQUp7I/AAAAAAAAJd0/9dwGX8co4_E/s1600/DSC_0812.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-YATtMKCVRyI/VNz3IRQUp7I/AAAAAAAAJd0/9dwGX8co4_E/s1600/DSC_0812.JPG" height="400" width="267" /></a></div>
Apparently, the local culture is if you don't intend to buy, then don't bother to ask. We did actually go by that rule until we chanced upon a stall, where my sister got curious and looked around the luggage on display. A sales person, with calculator at hand, approached us and started quoting us a price. We firmly said No, but the lady continued giving us different prices. It was tough escaping the very persistent sales rep, so eventually we decided to leave altogether. On our way out though, the lady grabbed my sister's arm roughly and started cursing us in Chinese. My goodness! We can laugh about it now although at that time we were probably too flabbergasted by the whole thing.<br />
<br />
We didn't allow that to ruin the moment though. We went around and enjoyed the city as much as we could. A tip when going to Hongkong, make sure you carry with you the name card of your hotel as well as brochures of places you want to go. You can show them to taxi drivers and this will make it easy for everyone to reach their intended destination. </div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-jCjF7wx52EM/VNz2YHLdg-I/AAAAAAAAJds/QPPBB0j6NtY/s1600/DSC_0726.JPG" imageanchor="1"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-jCjF7wx52EM/VNz2YHLdg-I/AAAAAAAAJds/QPPBB0j6NtY/s1600/DSC_0726.JPG" height="428" width="640" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Finally, on our return trip back home - she to Manila and I to Singapore - my sister and I both missed our flights. Confused as we were with the time difference, we lounged around the airport several hours before our departure only to miss our planes! We had to rebook our flights the following day, putting a further dent in our pockets, and ended up staying overnight at the busy but very comfortable Hong Kong International Airport. An overnight stay at an airport - a first for us, and hopefully the last.</div>
<div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-D2dLwpFDjbI/VNz3qrjOrbI/AAAAAAAAJd8/8UvRk_HaapI/s1600/DSC_0754_small.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-D2dLwpFDjbI/VNz3qrjOrbI/AAAAAAAAJd8/8UvRk_HaapI/s1600/DSC_0754_small.jpg" height="430" width="640" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div>
There are experiences we only learn when we dare to explore places that are unfamiliar. Therefore, despite a few unsatisfactory events, here's a toast to future travels and more eye-opening experiences! Cheers!</div>

Most famous are Palawan, voted World's Top Island based on a survey by renown <a href="http://www.cntraveler.com/">Conde Nest Traveler</a>; Boracay, a popular beach destination for both international and local tourists; Albay, home to Mount Mayon, a beauty of a volcano admired for its perfect conical and symmetrical shape; Bohol, esteemed for its delectable Chocolate Hills; Ifugao, domicile of the majestic Banaue Rice Terraces; and Tagaytay, an elevated observation deck that provides a nice vantage view of the diminutive Mt Taal, a unique volcano within a lake within an island.<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
There is, however, a little known gem hidden in the Southern most region of Mindanao. In Basilan, the Malamawi and Lampinigan islands remain treasures that have yet to be discovered. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Here are lovely photos of the two beaches courtesy of my cousin, Mr Conan Dans. </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
To get to these islands, we traveled by sea from the Port of Zamboanga to the City of Isabela in Basilan Province. There are options to travel either by slow boat, which is cheaper but will take some 1 and a half to 2 hour ride, or by fast craft at a slightly higher cost but at a shorter duration of 45 minutes to an hour. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
From the port area in Isabela, we proceeded to a small quay nearby where motorized "bancas" were docked for transport rental to Malamawi Island and Lampinigan Island. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-lmZg_a6nNc8/VNkIq1mbzeI/AAAAAAAAJas/BuFGutIzfJE/s1600/_DSC1477.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-lmZg_a6nNc8/VNkIq1mbzeI/AAAAAAAAJas/BuFGutIzfJE/s1600/_DSC1477.jpg" height="424" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Small Quay for the motorized pumpboats</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Malamawi is nearer and largely visible from the port. The ride only took 15 minutes to reach the island. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by "habal-habal" drivers offering to drive us to the other end of the island where the beach is located. Habal-Habal is a transfigured motorcycle with a wooden plank strapped to the passenger seat to allow for more passengers. We went through a rough road which initially passed through several houses but later gave way to a panorama of nothing but coconut trees. I must admit that was very worrying but, when the road opened to a beach that was so pristine and wonderful, my apprehensions were somehow assuaged and set aside. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-U4RJMBo_MIs/VNkG3PY4aKI/AAAAAAAAJZ4/CvBtWxNtyQw/s1600/_DSC0689.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-U4RJMBo_MIs/VNkG3PY4aKI/AAAAAAAAJZ4/CvBtWxNtyQw/s1600/_DSC0689.jpg" height="446" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The beach is rarely frequented by Tourists. Although there are a few cottages here and there, and a volleyball net can be seen set up in one area, the island remains mostly untouched. I would have to say that of the numerous beaches I have ever had the pleasure of visiting, none can boast as fine or white a sand, or as clear a water as the island of Malamawi. No exaggerations here, promise!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Lampinigan Island is farther than Malamawi. It can be reached in 45 minutes by a motorized banca. We requested to be brought to the beach directly so there was no need for habal-habal. Instead we debarked straight to the coastline with our rented banca anchored to the shore. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
If Malamawi was a treat, Lampinigan Island was doubly so. The sands are even finer, the water even clearer, and the view simply a breathtaking piece of natural art. It is an island so detached from the outside world, not even a single cottage can be found to provide shade for a sunkissed traveller. Truly it is untouched in every sense of the word.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/--CaxymlJVPM/VNkHkPL54eI/AAAAAAAAJaU/FAWTcRckVJc/s1600/_DSC1405.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/--CaxymlJVPM/VNkHkPL54eI/AAAAAAAAJaU/FAWTcRckVJc/s1600/_DSC1405.jpg" height="424" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
We couldn't stay very long in these islands though even if we wanted to. The most we could enjoy them were for a few memorable hours. We had to bid our adieus to them and the few CAFGU men who roamed their shores. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-W9AFpLTfaFM/VNkPQl0AZbI/AAAAAAAAJbE/1knm-YBG-Sc/s1600/_DSC0741.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-W9AFpLTfaFM/VNkPQl0AZbI/AAAAAAAAJbE/1knm-YBG-Sc/s1600/_DSC0741.JPG" height="424" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>It is truly saddening that because of valid threats to security, these lovely "no-go-zone" islands remain undiscovered by the rest of the world. </b></div>

Those visas were left unused however but since then, I have had the desire to visit the land of milk and honey, not to mention, Hollywood!<br />
<br />
Last year, after getting our immigration papers in Canada, my family of 3 applied for a US Visa so we could finally fulfill that long-desired visit. We were all fortunate to have been granted 10-year multiple entry visa.<br />
<br />
For those who aspire for the US Non-Immigrant (Tourist) visa but are not in the know-how of things, here are a few things I can share regarding the experience.<br />
<a name='more'></a><b>Payment</b><br />
<b></b><br />
<br />
Payment per application is US$160.00. You will need to fill up the <a href="https://ceac.state.gov/genniv/">DS-160</a> form and <a href="http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/index.html?firstTime=No">create an account </a>in the US Embassy's website. If you are in the Philippines, please click <a href="http://manila.usembassy.gov/niv-application.html">here</a>. Remember to be honest with your answers because as from what I heard, they conduct background checks.<br />
<b><br /></b>
<b>Interview</b><br />
<b><br /></b>
Once you are scheduled for an interview, you will be given instructions on what to bring. Cellular phones are a no-no but you may bring supporting papers like bank statements, employment certificates and other similar certificates.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-_4ZG7bzjYLw/VOKeSRpAoBI/AAAAAAAAJgY/upqA64AEkmE/s1600/Screen%2BShot%2B2015-02-16%2Bat%2B8.47.31%2Bpm.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-_4ZG7bzjYLw/VOKeSRpAoBI/AAAAAAAAJgY/upqA64AEkmE/s1600/Screen%2BShot%2B2015-02-16%2Bat%2B8.47.31%2Bpm.png" height="332" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
In my case, I only brought papers required as instructed in the Appointment Letter, and my bank statement and employment certificate.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-qX6_T_y1CKQ/VOKeH7qsZeI/AAAAAAAAJgQ/O3skbLvrnp8/s1600/Screen%2BShot%2B2015-02-16%2Bat%2B8.47.15%2Bpm.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-qX6_T_y1CKQ/VOKeH7qsZeI/AAAAAAAAJgQ/O3skbLvrnp8/s1600/Screen%2BShot%2B2015-02-16%2Bat%2B8.47.15%2Bpm.png" height="368" width="640" /></a></div>
<b>Tips</b><br />
<b><br /></b>
Prepare yourself to be grilled by embassy personnel during the interview. These officials are trained to think every individual who wants to go the US have plans to stay there illegally. Your task, therefore, is to make them believe otherwise.<br />
<br />
Should you have any family members or relatives who were caught staying illegally and deported from the States, your chances of getting a visa are slim to none.<br />
<br />
Remember to answer only what is asked. A Yes or NO question should only be answered by a Yes or No answer. Avoid justifying them as it can be misconstrued as defensiveness, which will cast doubt on you and the reason why you want to go to the US.<br />
<br />
If your parents have a pending petition for immigration in the States, this must be noted on your application as well even if that petition was some 30 years ago, because there is a possibility that you are incidental to that petition. My sister, on her first try, was denied because of this. Not her fault though because she had no idea our family was subject to prior petition from an Aunt back in the 80's. Please check with your parents first.<br />
<br />
Stay calm and focused. Interviewers can be very intimidating. We had the misfortune of being assigned to one who talked down all her applicants. Short of screaming, she talked in a really loud voice meant to browbeat us and let everyone in the room in our dialogue. It was embarrassing and it took a lot of effort on our part to remain calm and not be shaken by the experience. I supposed that is part of the strategy. Some are lucky they don't get asked too many questions as in the case of both my parents who only had to answer as little as four queries each. Some are asked a million questions. So just be prepared.<br />
<br />
<b>VISA Denial</b><br />
<b><br /></b>
Now on to what will get you denied a visa.<br />
<br />
A disclaimer: I do not work for the US embassy and the following are just conjectures formed from conversations with countless friends who were denied visas, as well as from reading articles and watching shows that tackled immigration issues.<br />
<br />
First, lack of work experience.<br />
<br />
Second, short employment duration with your present company. Say, you have only been working for less than a year. I heard this myself to one of those who were interviewed.<br />
<br />
Third, short duration in your rented apartment.<br />
<br />
Fourth, lack of sufficient funds. You should have at least a minimum US$7,000.00 especially if you declared you are paying for the trip. You have to account the cost of air fare, daily expenses, etc.<br />
<br />
And lastly, lack of family members or relatives living in the states.<br />
<br />
Basically, you just need to show them you have more reason to go back to your home country rather than staying in theirs.<br />
<br />
As an imparting message, let me share with you a story of a former colleague who, some 10 years ago, got accepted for a job in Hawaii. During his interview at the embassy, he was informed he would not be granted a US Visa. When he asked why, the officer advised him he did not possess any assets in the Philippines. My colleague retorted, "I have told you I have my own house built on my mother's lot. My wife and kids are staying there. I am telling you the truth. Do you want me to fake documents instead to show you I have when, in truth, I do not?" The officer granted him a Visa.<br />
<br />
So good luck on your application and remember that honesty is the best policy.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03998468478817818002noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2785193029491140430.post-89134648647596700252015-02-08T08:58:00.001-08:002015-02-15T06:50:30.159-08:00Toronto's Winterlicious - Grab it before it's too late<br />
Since 2003, the City of Toronto has been promoting restaurants during the low season. Dubbed as Winterlicious, this year's event starts from January 30 to February 12, 2015. With few days left on the calendar, be sure to make the trip and don't forget to make your reservation. Seats tend to be full especially for dinner. <br />
<br />
Currently the prices are $18, $23 or $28 for lunch and $25, $35 or $45 for dinner, with drinks and gratuity extra.<br />
<br />
My favorite so far has been the lobster menu at <a href="http://www.toularestaurant.com/">Toula Restaurant and Bar</a> at <a href="http://www.westinharbourcastletoronto.com/">Westin Harbour Castle </a>right in the heart of downtown Toronto. Nothing beats a sumptuous meal with a nice view. <br />
<br />

Coming from a tropical country, I would always wonder what it would be like to glide off cold snowy mountains. It seems so much fun!<br />
<br />
So a month after my family and I arrived in Ontario, my sister's in-laws invited us to go on a Skiing Trip. We initially wanted to go to <a href="http://www.bluemountain.ca/">Blue Mountain Ski Resort</a>, the most famous and largest Ski Amusement Park in Ontario. We settled for <a href="http://www.skisnowvalley.com/">Snow Valley</a> in Barrie however because they offered more affordable rates.<br />
<br />
A First Time package includes rental equipment plus an hour of beginners lesson. The instructors are highly experienced, very kind and incredibly patient. I had too many falls on my first try but I took everything in stride, injured pride and all. Even the awkward tumbles were fun!<br />
<br />
I really wonder how professional skiers do it. They make it look so easy on television and in the movies, but this is a sport that is extremely difficult to master. For one, the boots are huge and they weigh a ton. Finding your balance, as you move left and right, also takes rigorous practice. I had to remove my jacket as I was sweating profusely. Yes, in that snow.<br />
<br />
That was such a fun experience though my body got tired too easily I couldn't even finish my lesson. My butt had enough of the abuse from my all too frequent falls.<br />

We capped our great Ski Trip with a lovely stay in <a href="http://donatohouse.com/">Donato House</a> at Wasaga Beach. <i>"To see in color is a delight for the eye but to see in black and white is a delight for the soul." - Andri Cauldwell</i></blockquote>
Yesterday, I went out to brave the snow storm in Downtown Toronto. I had two sets, one taken in color (<a href="http://fayezhadans.blogspot.ca/2015/02/winter-storm-downtown-toronto.html">please click here</a>) and one in black and white.<br />
<br />
I walked on slippery snow filled walkways, covering my face from the snow and wind chill but always on the lookout on the beauty that the condition projects.<br />
<br />
After staying in Asia for so long and getting used to Typhoons, i am now faced with another set of challenges. Snow Storm! What better way to experience and photograph something that is entirely new to me.<br />

Her response to recent events surrounding the Mamapasano massacre in Maguindanao, Philippines. </span></i><br />
<span style="color: #444444;"><i><br /></i>
<i>When I first read this, I cried in tears because I couldn't agree more with her sentiments. Somehow, she found the right words to express my feelings that I could not have expressed any better.</i></span><br />
<span style="color: #444444;"><i><br /></i>
<i>This has been shared and reposted on other people's timeline as well. I would appreciate it very much if you could take time to read this. </i></span><br />
<i><br /></i>
<br />
To all my friends who have posted their sentiments on Facebook regarding the Mamapasano massacre, before anything else, please know that I respect your opinions and I wish to thank you sincerely for your honesty. Only when we are able to fully express our stand regarding issues without limitations, censure or fear of retaliation, are we able to fully appreciate democracy in our country.<br />
<br />
A former schoolmate noted an observation that the Muslim community has been questionably silent over the brutal killings of 44 police officers in Maguindanao. As a "half-breed Moro", I think I might just have been the target of that insinuation.<br />
<br />
It seems that my decision to keep my opinion to myself have resulted in some erroneously inferring that I am biased towards a certain party.<br />
<br />
My apologies to you, as it seems that wary caution has heightened your emotional state of resentment. Please be assured it does not mean I do not care, or that my outrage over this are less than yours. By no means does it equate that I feel no anger or pain. In truth, I fear whether there may be too much of it that sometimes I wonder whether so much negativity may have permanently taken root in this heart that is more conflicted than yours. I have to step back at times and remind myself, again and again, that I have to be circumspect with my thoughts in order to stay rationale.<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<br />
In this chaos of vitriol mudslinging, how could I disregard my mother's feelings? She, who gave me this gift of life, who has stood by me and tried her best to understand me as I delved into my crisis of unresolved identity? How could I disregard the feelings of my friends, whom I have shared many fond memories all these years since childhood? Should I simply cast aside the friendships we have built, out of anger, even as, like me, they too are victims in all these?<br />
<br />
There is much anger, anguish and pain. If there is anybody who has a right to that, along with the families of those who were killed, it should be us, Mindanaoans - We, who have suffered and endured more than enough in this violent conflict that has claimed and destroyed the lives of so many for so long.<br />
<br />
You are right in saying this is an issue of distrust. I will take that statement a notch higher. Taking in context my selfish interests, and please note this is my opinion alone, I say there is NO ONE I can trust. Not the so-called freedom fighters who have resorted to the unflinching murder of innocents, nor our incompetent and corrupt government that, time and again, has failed to protect us and our rights to a life of peace that is free from fear, violence and intimidation.<br />
<br />
I accept your criticisms wholeheartedly as all opinions are valid. Should you brand me a coward if I am unable to join you so bravely in your polemic crusade, I accept that too. I am sorry that I have to protect my family first. You see, the house that my father built for us - his family, as well as those of our neighbors' and everyone else's in our locality, are already lathered thick with gasoline. We thread ever so lightly everyday over a vast and rich oilfield, where all it takes is a single lighted matchstick for a dreaded conflagration to take place. Unfortunate as it is, I am in no position to add fuel to what is already a very heated situation. Because when this whole thing ignites, believe me when I say, it will be I, my family and my friends who will burn.<br />
<br />
Six million dollars. Forty-four dead police officers. Two Jemaah Islamiyah terrorists in hiding. Not one in command from either side taking the blame.<br />
<br />
All these in just a little over a year since the <a href="http://fayezhadans.blogspot.ca/2014/12/zamboanga-siege-aftermath.html">Zamboanga siege</a>, an unforgettable event for us Zamboanguenos, as many people died, lost their loved ones, their homes, properties and livelihood. This happened despite the fact that SOUTHCOM, the main operating base of the AFP for southwest Philippines, and headquarters of the WESMINCOM, is stationed in Calarian.<br />
<br />
A few hundred terrorists were all it took to hold our city of 800,000 hostage for a month. The outcome: A major section of our hometown comprising of several barangays burned down, over 100,000 people displaced, over 10,000 homes destroyed, some 190 people dead, add an additional 160 who died in evacuation centers, and one police chief sacked over a highly suspicious single-handed negotiation that resulted in the surrender of 23 MNLF fighters. If "hush-hush reports" are to be believed, the death toll could actually skyrocket, as there are many who claim it was very heavilty underreported. Moro-Moro lang to pre!<br />
<br />
The threat to security crisis has been a perennial one for us, and yet in 2005 Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo ordered the transfer of SOUTHCOM from Zamboanga to Pagadian to which we protested. Our mayor was not in good political standing with the then president, this individual who has been accused of cheating her way to the highest office in the land.<br />
<br />
A week ago, another bomb exploded near the bus terminal, along a highway we pass through everyday. Scores were injured and 7 people died. The bomb was placed in a very busy area. The objective, to free 57 detained comrades, and apparently, to hurt and claim as many lives possible. We live only several meters away from that terminal, yet the explosion was so powerful, my father said our house of concrete shook as if there was an earthquake, and shrapnel actually reached the nearest store in our neighbourhood located just three houses away.<br />
<br />
This was not the first. Nor will it be the last.<br />
<br />
Cap that with a long list of atrocities we have had to deal with in the past until the present, most of them unreported in the national media. The extortions, the notorious kidnappings, and the assassinations committed by serial perpetrators with so much impunity that, again, there are well-founded rumours these groups are coddled and protected by a few rotten tomatoes from the AFP and some local politicians for a considerable slice of ransom and extortion money.<br />
<b><br /></b>
<b><span style="font-size: large;">This beloved land of promise we can only hope to collectively call ours has since long ago been rendered nothing but a mere playground for a classic game of generals. We are nothing but mere pawns for the amusement of an elite few, who have disenfranchised as of our right to choose our destiny. At the end of the day, when everything has been said and done, it is we, Mindanaoans, both Moros and non-Moros, who will have to bear the brunt of a senseless war. We are but your collateral damage.</span></b><br />
<b><br /></b>
You get to live your enviable lives of nine-to-five hour, five-day-a-week "overly stressful" jobs, and Sunday visits to church thanking the Almighty for all the blessings that have come your way, while we have to worry every single minute about the next possible bomb explosion or rebel attack. Your reality, my friend, is different from my reality. While our perspectives may, at some point or another, be similar, they will never be altogether the same, because where we come from are totally disparate.<br />
<br />
Having said all this, I want it to be clear I do not condone any form of violence and I support the call to continously and unrelentingly pressure this government to defend and protect us law-abiding citizens of this nation.<br />
<br />
We are overwhelmed by our emotions right now. I personally would prefer to weigh and deliberate on these after an in depth analysis of everything, with a calm and collected head over my shoulder, as this is a very sensitive and complicated decades-old issue.<br />
<br />
Two weeks ago, I attended the largest papal mass held in Luneta. I asked from God - a God I can't be totally sure to be Catholic or Muslim - for light and guidance. I prayed for my family and for my friends. For our country to overcome the inhibiting shackles of poverty, ignorance and corruption. That one day, we could all live harmoniously in a progressive and peaceful society that is inclusive of everyone.<br />
<br />
I harbor no ill feelings against anybody. You have said your piece, and now I have stated mine. If anyone feels offended by it, then please accept my sincere apologies.<br />
<br />
I am one with the rest of the country in commiserating with the families of those who were slain. May the souls of the fallen rest in eternal peace.<br />
<br />
Nonetheless, I join Justice Lourdes Sereno and the Supreme Court in their plea for sobriety in these very difficult times.<br />
<br />
Peace be with you!<br />

<blockquote class="tr_bq">
<i>"Where we love is home - home that our feet may leave, but not our hearts." - Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr</i></blockquote>
In my 35 years, I have had the privilege of living in a few places away from home. First, was in Manila where, shortly after graduation from college, I grabbed an opportunity to work there. Then I moved to Singapore, where i lived for 8 years, and where my husband and I started our own family. Finally, I relocated to Canada where I now live with of course my husband and our son, Pico, who grows up too fast by the minute.<br />
<a name='more'></a>All these places, at some point or another, i have called home. Yet none, it seems, can ever truly replace Zamboanga, my hometown, the city of my birth and coming of age.<br />
<br />
With fondness, I look back at the places I roamed in my youth and ever so often take a stroll down my childhood memory lane.<br />
<br />
Though much has changed since I left - that somehow it no longer looks like the place I grew up in - in my heart, i know this is a place where I will always belong, for that sentimental link that lies deep within remains strong and infrangible.<br />

<br />
Below are some photos of our sojourn taken in Juara Beach on the Island of Tioman.<br />

<br />
We had the good fortune of experiencing one of the loveliest sunrise, as the sky brimmed full with hues of red, yellow and orange, the warmest colors of the sun, almost an attestation from heaven of the love that overflowed from our hearts that day.<br />

<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The place was perfect for us who wanted to get away from the bustling city life and experience the peace and quiet. And yes, it almost felt like we had the beach by ourselves! We read our books at the beach while enjoying the windy sea breeze and fresh air. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
It was paradise. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
If you're looking for a place where you can relax, de-stress and have the beach to your own, Bintan is the place for you! </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
You can get to Bintan from Singapore's Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal. The trip will take you about an hour. For more detailed schedule and info, please click <a href="http://bintan-resorts.com/visitors/travel-info-tips/getting-to-bintan/">here.</a> </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
As always, I do advice to just get any promo fares from an agency, rather than doing everything by yourself from booking your ferry, to booking your hotel. I am one who doesn't want to sweat the small stuff. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
There are a lot of Resorts in Bintan. Prices varies as well. The choice is yours. There's <a href="http://www.nirwanagardens.com/">Nirwana Gardens, </a> <a href="http://www.angsana.com/en/">Angsana Bintan</a>, <a href="http://bintan-resorts.com/visitors/resorts/bintan-lodge/">Bintan Lodge</a> for those on budget, <a href="http://www.clubmed.com.sg/cm/resort-bintan-island-indonesia_p-362-l-AE-v-RBIC-ac-vh.html">Club Med</a>, <a href="http://www.banyantree.com/ca/ap-indonesia-bintan">Banyan Tree</a>. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Enjoy your holidays and do let me know what you think about the place. </div>

That sentimentalism that comes with throwback photographs of a memorable event. That learning fulfillment that comes from technical and creative growth and learning.<br />
<br />
What is photography? The answer varies depending on whom we ask.<br />
<a name='more'></a>For me, it is all about moments. Moments that matter, of the people that live in one's heart, a place from where originates the very fiber of inspiration.<br />
<br />
Renown photographer Ansel Adams once said, <b>"A great photograph is one that fully expresses what one feels, in the deepest sense, about what is being photographed."</b><br />
<b><br /></b>
As is life and love, photography is personal.<br />
<br />
What is it to you?<br />
<br />

Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03998468478817818002noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2785193029491140430.post-79016220783331688722015-01-23T13:23:00.001-08:002015-03-26T12:54:04.348-07:00King of the RoadI was inspired to do a shot just like Joe Mcnally's on the cyclist <a href="http://blog.joemcnally.com/2014/03/24/some-flashes-and-a-cup-of-water/">"Some Flashes and a Cup of Water"</a>. That was just a beautifully executed shot. What do you expect, we're talking about the great, Joe Mcnally here.<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Though I know I wouldn't stand a chance at being even close to that picture, I know that I just have to do it my way. The way i feel and look at it. </div>
<div>
<a name='more'></a>So i've been begging my husband to allow me to take a shot of him on his bicycle. He loves the sport so much, and i told him, you just have to do this. You'll never have a nice photograph of you on that bicycle, unless it was taken by me! :P </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
One saturday, he finally agreed to do it. There was a condition though, that we would take it only on places where he wouldn't see any cyclist around, else it would be too awkward for him. We wanted to do it before sunrise. I think that beautiful color behind him would be perfect! </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
And guess what? It rained, and all our plans went down the drain. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
But here's the thing, you know. Sometimes, things happen because there are better options waiting for you. We went down from our flat, and i was standing at the middle of the parking lot trying to think where we should go. And then, viola! I don't have to go anywhere. This is the perfect location, between parked cars! And I shall name the shot, "King of the Road"! </div>
<div>

<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
What do you think? </div>

<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Mine is P<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pulau_Ubin">ulau Ubin</a>. The last surviving "kampong" and the only place that has retained its original landscape. It is remarkable that the government has protected this from development, and I truly hope they keep it that way. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
This place is my escape from the concrete jungle of working in the city and the pressure it brings. Riding the bicycle, the smell of fresh air, the disorder of things is totally gratifying! It is the most relaxing place to be. At least for me. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
It is only 30 minutes by bumboats from Changi Village. Take the ferry and enjoy nature! :) </div>

<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-y9PpdNgJfaI/VNwUvlgzllI/AAAAAAAAJco/OpcGGJNaiLE/s1600/DSCF4268_small.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-y9PpdNgJfaI/VNwUvlgzllI/AAAAAAAAJco/OpcGGJNaiLE/s1600/DSCF4268_small.jpg" height="442" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Somebody said, do not be a stranger in your own place.<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
That is exactly how i felt after reading on <a href="https://ph.she.yahoo.com/photos/top-7-philippine-beaches-you-can-t-miss-slideshow/top-7-beaches-sta-cruz-island-photo-1492341037.html">Yahoo news</a> that the top 7 beaches in the Philippines includes the pink sand Sta. Cruz Island in my hometown Zamboanga City.</div>
<div>
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br /></div>
<div>
CNN news has included the Sta. Cruz Island among "<a href="http://www.cnn.com/2014/02/13/travel/philippines-best-beaches-and-islands/">The Philippines best beaches and Islands</a>" too!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I know the place. I have heard about just how beautiful the island is, but I have not been there. It is a shame that i have not step foot on one of the beautiful beaches in the country, and i am supposed to be a local. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
So in 2013, at 34 years old, I made sure I was going to make that trip to the beautiful island of Sta. Cruz! I have to admit, I had my fear, but my excitement supercedes all worries.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
At last, I can finally say, I HAVE BEEN THERE! </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The Island as what they have described it, is BEAUTIFUL! The white and pink sand is amazing. I love the fact that the place is not developed, with just a washroom and some cottages. There are no restaurants around or sari-sari store, so you have to bring your own food and drinks. There are barbeque pits available at the area in case you want to grill your food. The island is clean, so please throw your rubbish in the thrash bin provided in the island. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Do note this is strictly a Day Trip affair, which is only 30 minutes from Paseo Del Mar. The ride by the way, will be escorted by a Police.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
If you love discovering beautiful places, Sta Cruz Island will not fail you.<br />

My husband and I share one thing in common, and that is our love for movies. When we moved here in Canada, somehow we have stopped watching movies. We are too consumed with starting our life here, and still we are clueless as to where to start. We are literally putting up the pieces of the puzzle until we can finally say we have settled down. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
Last night however, I finally had the chance to watch a movie "The Theory of Everything", story of physicist Stephen Hawking. This movie, while it is moving and deeply inspiring, is more of a movie of hope for me - that's on a personal note.<br />
<div>
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br /></div>
<div>
The last part touched me the most when a journalist asked Stephen Hawking, "Do you have a philosophy of life that helps you?"</div>
<blockquote class="tr_bq">
<i>"There ought to be something very special about the boundary conditions of the universe, and what can be more special than that there is no boundary, and there should be no boundary to human endeavour. We are all different. However bad life may seem, there is always something that you can do and succeed at. While there is life, there is hope!"</i></blockquote>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.youtube.com/embed/Salz7uGp72c?feature=player_embedded' frameborder='0'></iframe></div>
<br />
<br />
Watch the film and find that hope in your heart. Indeed, there is no boundary.<br />
<br />
P.S<br />
This movie deserves an Oscar award! Actor Eddie Redmayne is exceptionally superb in this film!Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03998468478817818002noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2785193029491140430.post-4212258406850737002015-01-16T18:57:00.000-08:002015-02-16T10:25:20.298-08:00Train types in Toronto, Canada<div>
This shot was taken at the Clarkson GO Train Station in Mississauga. And this is where we learned about the transport system here. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Am i glad i brought my camera with me. I always try to bring my camera with me though wherever i go because you just don't know what awaits you. Your perfect shot may come in a very unusual place or situation. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-PLg33B56FCw/VLnKKgDe2iI/AAAAAAAAJQA/3ux6Zjh0QWQ/s1600/DSC_3264_small.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-PLg33B56FCw/VLnKKgDe2iI/AAAAAAAAJQA/3ux6Zjh0QWQ/s1600/DSC_3264_small.jpg" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div>
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br /></div>
<div>
The train system in Canada is quite complex. There are 4 train types;</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
1. TTC or the Toronto Transit Commission commonly known as the Subway. This will only get you around Toronto. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
2. Streetcar is only within downtown Toronto. I found it quite strange actually to see a train (i have to call it a train, anything that runs on rails is a train for me) on the road where cars and all public utility vehicles are using it as well. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
3. GO Train is Ontario's Inter-Regional Transit system. This is only within the province of Ontario.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
4. VIA Rail Train will get you across Canada. From Toronto to Vancouver or Montreal. This is the train for you. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
You can use the same ticket for your TTC and Streetcar. But you have to separately purchase for your GO Train and/or VIA Rail Train. Do note that Go Train is more expensive, obviously because you're travelling farther. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
So hop on the right train otherwise you might end up in some strange place... </div>
<div>

I am one of those.<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
For years, I would rely on my luck. Until i got here in Canada and noticed the one thing that would change on how i look at it. You don't need luck, after all. All you need to do, is wake up very early and wait for the sunrise. If you wake up to this - a beautiful play of colors in the sky, expect the same for the Sunset!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-uc_hgkoJTKI/VLnD2-c2fYI/AAAAAAAAJPo/4YbpmulEO4o/s1600/DSC_2628_small.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-uc_hgkoJTKI/VLnD2-c2fYI/AAAAAAAAJPo/4YbpmulEO4o/s1600/DSC_2628_small.jpg" height="430" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Before Sunrise </div>
<div>
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-EuiSFTw4rjo/VLnEa9SVu-I/AAAAAAAAJPw/sb6mTOE_0oE/s1600/DSC_4312_small.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-EuiSFTw4rjo/VLnEa9SVu-I/AAAAAAAAJPw/sb6mTOE_0oE/s1600/DSC_4312_small.jpg" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Sunset </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div>
<div>
<div>
Day in and day out, for months now I would wait and watch the sunrise and sunset. It doesn't matter if your weather app says it's a sunny day. If the sunrise didn't had colors, your sunset will just be as good as your sunrise. </div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I can't say if this theory will work out in Asia or any other country. For now, this one works for me here in Canada. So before you go out for your Sunset shoot, watch out for the sunrise! :) </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Let me know if it worked for you. Happy Sunset shooting! </div>
