Travel to Phuket, Thailand

For me and my husband, travelling means photography. We chase sunrise and sunset, and yes we always do find beautiful play of colors during the magical hours. But not this time. Frustrating as it is, we just didn't see the fusion of colors. It was very cloudy, not even a dark blue sky on a day time! However, for our family travelling means F-U-N! And that we had.

Phuket is an island surrounded with beautiful beaches. The famous beach on the island is the Patong Beach where the rock and roll is. You can go for Parasailing, Banana Boat Ride, Jet Skii at this area.

My Son, Pico

I have stopped photography for a while to focus on the most fulfilling thing in the world, "Motherhood"! Actually i haven't stopped, my son has become my subject, my world, and my everything. He has become the center of my camera and my life.

Construction

I have been in the Construction Industry for more than 10 years now. What better way to photograph the industry that i have loved nearly half of my life.

Taken recently at the Workers Rest Area, Bugis MRT Project

Reflections at Marina Bay Keppel

The moment i saw my friend who posted this place on facebook, I knew i just had to come to this place, and i knew i had to bring my little friend with me, the Fujifilm X100s. This little thing is a monster! It delivers...

You can get to this place from Labrador Park. The nearest MRT however is from Harbour Front, that is if you do not want to stroll along the Labrador Park which is equally a beautiful place to relax.

Fujifilm X100s

Let me remind you that this is not a review or anything close to that. This is simply my opinion on the Fujifilm X100s that i recently bought for myself.

When Fujifilm X100 came out some 2 years back, I was one of those who closely followed the camera. The retro look fascinated me soo much that i wanted it so dearly. First, what i really liked was the design. Second, from the reviews and the sample photos i've seen, i knew that i had to had this. However, things just didn't go as planned. And i didn't buy it. I'm not going into details anyway, what is important i guess is when the new Fujifilm X100s came out it was better. Better. Better. Better.

Fujifilm X100s is just an incredible camera for me. It works in low light. The auto focus is fast, and most of all, the colors are just great! I suggest if you are looking for a compact, everyday camera, this one's for you. It's value for money without any compromise on quality!

I've taken some sample shots for you to see. No post processing done. The only thing photoshop here, is the signature on the lower right corner.  Other than that, it is what it is!

Conan+Anne

The engagement shoot for my cousin Conan and his Fiance Anne was such a delight. After two years when all I’ve done is to photograph my son, this is such an ice breaker! It gave me the opportunity as well to re-visit Punggol Beach which has been improved immensely with new park overlooking the Coney Island and connecting to the new Punggol Waterway. The Punggol Park is a beauty to behold. The shoot however is just part and parcel of the new developments in Punggol.
